The duration of the International Student Academic Excellence Scholarship is determined by the length of the first-degree program as indicated in your Letter of Offer, minus any credits granted for prior studies. Deductions will be applied by the census date of each trimester within the program. In the event that a student receives a Griffith University scholarship valued at more than 25% of the tuition fees, the higher-value scholarship will be applied instead of this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:
In order to qualify for the Griffith University International Student Academic Excellence Scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Applicants must hold citizenship from a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
- Minimum GPA: A minimum GPA of 5.5 or above on a 7-point scale, or its equivalent, is required in previous studies. Please refer to the Minimum GPA criteria for further assessment of your eligibility.
- Academic and English Language Requirements: Applicants must meet all the academic and English language entry requirements specified for their chosen undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
- Full-Time Enrollment: Successful applicants must be enrolled as full-time students (40 credit points) and commence their studies in Trimester 1, 2, or 3 of the year 2023.
